Zawodowy żeglarz
Zawodowym żeglarzem jestem od 2020 roku. Moja działalność zawodowa obejmuje szerokie spektrum, od wyczynowych regat offshore i rejsów ekspedycyjnych, po szkolenia w Akademii Regatowej. Kiedy jestem na lądzie, szukam równowagi w górach. Od polskich szlaków, po szczyty takie jak Mont Blanc czy Kilimandżaro.
Z Katowic na otwarty ocean
Moja droga na największe akweny świata była nieoczywista. Zaczęła się 600 km od najbliższego wybrzeża, w Katowicach. Po wczesnych sukcesach w klasie Optymist i obiecującym początku w klasie Laser 4.7, okoliczności życiowe oddaliły mnie od żeglarstwa wyczynowego na osiem lat. Ostatecznie „zew oceanu” zwyciężył.
Wróciłem do żeglarstwa uzyskując niezbędne uprawnienia do organizowania i prowadzenia rejsów. W międzyczasie odnowiłem kontakty i zacząłem brać udział w regatach morskich, m.in. w Mistrzostwach Europy ORC.
Team player
Przez niemal 3 lata byłem częścią załogi I Love Poland na jachcie Volvo Open 70. Startowałem w najważniejszych wyścigach offshore jako mainsail trimmer i pitman, m.in. RORC Transatlantic Race, RORC Caribbean 600, Rolex Fastnet Race. Wywalczyliśmy tytuł Line Honours w:
- Rolex Middle Sea Race
- RORC Baltic Sea Race
- Gotland Runt
Kilkukrotnie przepłynąłem Atlantyk. Uczestniczyłem w pierwszym etapie The Ocean Race 2023 w barwach Ambersail Team (4. miejsce). Obecnie wchodzę w skład wielu profesjonalnych zespołów w wielu różnorodnych projektach międzynarodowych. Jestem otwarty na nowe projekty.
Skipper
Jako skipper/trener w projektach Selma Racing/Selma Academy prowadzę załogi pro-am w regatach offshore. Przekuwam potencjał załogi w profesjonalne nawyki, dbając o to, by rozwój techniczny szedł w parze z ambicją sportową. Mój model współpracy opiera się na budowaniu zgranych, zorientowanych na cel zespołów, co owocuje sukcesami na arenie międzynarodowej, m.in.:
- Aegean 600 2 m. w ORC2 & 3 m. w IRC3
- Loro Piana Giraglia 4 m.

W rolach skippera i co-skippera prowadzę rejsy ekspedycyjne w trudno dostępne miejsca i wymagające regiony, m.in. Grenlandia, Patagonia, Cape Horn.
Poza horyzont
Gdy emocje regatowe opadają, z pasją przyglądam się temu, jak dynamika zespołu i przywództwo w stresie wpływają na wyniki. Fascynuje mnie przenoszenie mechanizmów komunikacji z ekstremalnych warunków morskich na grunt codziennej współpracy. Chętnie dzielę się tą wiedzą, pokazując, że regatowe standardy i oceaniczne doświadczenia można z sukcesem adaptować w środowisku korporacyjnym, podnosząc jego efektywność.

Professional Sailor
I have been a professional sailor since 2020. My work spans from high-performance offshore racing and expedition sailing to coaching at a Racing Academy. When I’m not at sea, I find my balance in the mountains, trekking everywhere from Polish trails to iconic peaks like Mont Blanc and Kilimanjaro.
From Poland to the Open Ocean
My path to the world's greatest waters was unconventional. It began 600 km from the nearest coastline, in Katowice (Poland). After early success in the Optimist class and a promising start in the Laser 4.7, life circumstances took me away from sailing for eight years. Ultimately, the "call of the ocean" prevailed.
I returned to sailing by obtaining the necessary qualifications to organize and lead sailing cruises. Soon after, I re-established my industry connections and re-entered the racing circuit, competing in prestigious events such as the ORC European Championships.
Team Player
For nearly three years, I was a crew member of I Love Poland on the Volvo Open 70. I competed in major offshore races as a mainsail trimmer and pitman, including The RORC Transatlantic Race, The RORC Caribbean 600, The Rolex Fastnet Race, and many others. We secured Line Honours in:
- Rolex Middle Sea Race
- RORC Baltic Sea Race
- Gotland Runt
I have crossed the Atlantic several times and participated in the first leg of The Ocean Race 2023 with the Ambersail Team (4th place). Currently, I collaborate with various professional teams across various international projects. I am always open to new opportunities.
Skipper
As a skipper and coach for Selma Racing and Selma Academy, I lead pro-am crews in offshore regattas. I focus on transforming crew potential into professional habits, ensuring that technical development keeps pace with sporting ambition. My collaboration model is based on building cohesive, goal-oriented teams, which has resulted in international success, such as:
- Aegean 600 2nd in ORC2 & 3rd in IRC3
- Loro Piana Giraglia 4th place
Explorer
In my roles as skipper and co-skipper, I lead expedition voyages to remote locations and demanding regions, including Greenland, Patagonia, and Cape Horn.
Beyond the Horizon
When the racing adrenaline subsides, I am a passionate observer of how team dynamics and leadership under pressure impact results. I am fascinated by translating communication mechanisms from extreme maritime conditions into the realm of daily cooperation. I enjoy sharing this knowledge, showing that racing standards and oceanic experiences can be successfully adapted to the corporate environment to boost efficiency.
